The Cluster Scheme : The department of industrial policy and promotion under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Government of India, has introduced an Industrial Infrastructure Upgradiation Scheme [IIUS] for the existing cluster of industries. This scheme envisages to qualitatively develop infrastructure through public-private partnership. The Central government will provide 75% of the project cost, the State government 10% and the beneficiaries / Industry associations have to meet the remaining 15% of the project cost.
