STORM WATER DRAINS [Project cost Rs, 4.2 cr] : Storm water drainage system at New Autonagar, Kanuru is being taken up along with Guntuthippa outfall drain [RCC pipeline], which is a long felt need of the existing plot owners in jawahar Autonagar & Industrial Estate.

DRINKING WATER SUPPLY SCHEME TO JAWAHAR AUTONAGAR & INDUSTRIAL ESTATE [Project cost Rs.6.81 cr] : Drinking water supply to industrial units is grossly inadequate now. Augmentation of water supply system by providing 3 over head tanks with capacity of 30,000 Lts/day with equal capacity sumps and pipeline system is being taken up by VACDCL to cater to needs of immediate population of 80,000 & ultimate population of 1,20,000.

EFFLUENT TREATMENT PLANT [Project cost Rs.1.30 crores] : Common effluent treatment plant is envisaged to treat effluents released by industries. ETP is designed to meet current & future requirements of pollution norms.

TRADE CENTRE [Project cost Rs. 2.51 cr] : At a time when big multinational companies are calling on countries like India & China for out sourcing components, proper infrastructure is essential to showcase & market our products/services effectively. With this in view, a centrally located Trade Center is proposed.

Trade Center Complex would house
[i] Marketing/trade offices
[ii] Permanent product display area for local manufacturers to showcase their products
[iii] Large convention hall/exhibition area [for short-term exhibition]
[iv] Conference rooms with audiovisual equipment for business presentations
[v] Common reception, telecommunications, broad band internet connectivity, common website, data bank & other world-class facilities are proposed to attract foreign buyers. Countries like Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia have benefited by this model.

COMMON TESTING CENTER [Project cost Rs.2.50 cr] : A modern testing & calibration facility with ISO certification and accreditation from NABL is envisaged to benchmark and attain international quality standards in product reliability. It provides access to the latest and precision testing equipment with certification which is otherwise unaffordable to a small-scale industry. An SSI can obtain ISO certification without owning expensive equipment by a tie-up with common testing center.

COMMON CRITICAL MACHINERY CENTER [Project cost Rs. 6.58 cr] : Precision tool room is indispensable to any manufacturing activity. It is all the more relevant in today's consumer-driven society where model life cycle is short. This opens up vast opportunities to small scale entrepreneurs/design engineers to utilise the proposed CMC equipped with latest world-class CNC machining capabilities with rapid prototyping equipment which saves time and money in product development. Machinery proposed includes 5 axis CNC Machining Center, CNC lathe, rapid prototyping equipment, cylindrical grinding, line boring, heat treatment equipment etc. CAD. CAM design software's are also proposed. Other machineries which are not locally available and are useful to majority are also included.
